ACT 3
School years 7 - 9
Mondays
This is for ages 11 to 13. The aim is to develop the groups acting skills in a fun, safe environment. Students will be challenged to push themselves to their full potential. We will look at drama games that develop their confidence, the notion of team work and mutual respect.
We will have fun bringing together all the things we have been learning over the year.
Our Act 2 Drama Clubbers will enjoy shareing back their work and depending on the group, we may introduce rehearsals to show our new skill with parents and carers.

During the first term we will spend a lot of time playing drama games, developing confidence and getting to know each other. We enjoy making vibrant, exciting, memorable theatre and will spend time developing vocally and physically. We will begin to introduce improvisation and devising exercises.
The second term will focus more on learning and developing new acting skills. We will look closer at improvisation, physical theatre and mime. We may introduce some script work to help us with our story telling, however this would only be a few lines and could easily be achieved in class.
We will have fun bringing together all the things we have been learning over the year.
Our ACT3 drama clubbers will enjoy sharing back their work at the end of each session, we will offer opportunities to rehearse and show our new skills.
